Critical Home Repairs
The Critical Home Repair program will repair, replace or build systems that impact health and safety for families who could not otherwise afford to accomplish these tasks. Repairs include key systems: roofing, siding, windows, heating and air conditioning, septic or well, plumbing or electrical systems, and wheelchair ramps or other accessibility measures. Since 2000, Habitat for Humanity of La Pine Sunriver has made over 75 repairs for South County homeowners. Habitat welcomes inquiries from homeowners seeking assistance with needed health and safety repairs. Habitat for Humanity of La Pine Sunriver worked with Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC) to survey South County homeowners in 2019 about potential repair needs. We are grateful to Central Oregon Health Council for the funding which made this work possible.
