HISTORY
Founded in 1993, Habitat for Humanity of La Pine Sunriver (HFHLPS) has built 39 affordable homes for families in Southern Deschutes County and made 75 Critical Home Repairs to date, ensuring that families have a safe, healthy home of their own. HFHLPS creates stability and continuity for homeowners, their families, and the community: 95% of Habitat families in La Pine have retained ownership of their homes and are proud La Pine residents in our three neighborhoods. Habitat runs a ReStore in La Pine, builds homes in La Pine, and has an office in the Sunriver industrial park just 20 minutes north of its current Putney Place townhome build.
